Status: offline 		Is there any rule of thumb on the amount of time it takes to move mailboxes based on the current database size.  The current size of the the Exchange 2003 database is arounf 70GB.  Both servers are on the same lan.

Status: offline 		So many issues can affect it.
Speed of the servers, speed of the network, speed of the hard disks, whether the users have lots of small items or a few large items. You are probably looking at a good six to eight hours on decent hardware with a gb network.

Remember you can select them all and leave Exchange to get on with it. The process is multi threaded and Exchange will only move four at a time.

Status: online 		You can also use the -maxthread powershell option to move more than the default 4 at a time if you are using powershell to move the mailboxes
