Hi guys,

I have a query on restoring the mailbox of the deleted users.
Thing is,the user as been deleted from the server(Exchange 5.5),but we have a backup of the same.
Since there are some important messages we want to retrieve the same very badly.
Can anyone give the solution for my query...

there are 2 ways of doing this.

1. by using a third party utility (which could be quite expensive)called PowerControls by ONTRACK (www.ontrack.com).

2. by using a recovery server - here you can install an exchange recovery server and then do the restore of the mailbox. You then have to create and log in an exact user account as the one deleted, in to this exchange server to access this mail box.

hope this at least gives you a start.
