Hello,
So, I'm not sure what I did, but all of a sudden I started to get this error when trying to modify a public folder:
Exchange System Manager The token supplied to the function is invalid ID No: 80090308 Exchange System Manager
Anybody know what might be going on?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike (and the rest of you)!
Don't know if you found out this on your own. I just (finally) fixed this on our server. Has been extremely annoying not being able to administrate public folders, but at last it's working again. Below is a quote from a posting in the microsoft.public.exchange2000.admin newsgroup. Even though I didn't use SSL for the Exchange admin virtual directory as suggested, removing the SSL certificate which didn't have the FQDN did the trick. Quite annoying as we use "exchange.domain.com" as url for the OWA site, as opposed to "server.domain.com". Well, at least it's working again. Guess I just have to get a new certificate. BTW, the KB article mentioned apparently does not seem to exist.

Subject: RE: ID no: 80090308 with public groups From: "Reade C [MSFT]" <readec@online.microsoft.com> Sent: 1/5/2003 11:20:02 PM Hello Erik,
Thank you for requesting support for Microsoft Exchange 2000 server.
Based on my experience and research, this particular error is related to SSL. This error may occur if you have a certificate published to the IIS server that doesn't have the FQDN name of the server in the certificate. After publishing the correct certificate issued to the server using the FQDN name, (or replacing the current certificate for one issued to the FQDN of the server) the error will disappear.
Another solution is to remove SSL from the Exadmin virtual root in IIS. In the properties of the virtual root Exadmin in IIS, go to the "Directory Security" tab and in the "Secure Communications" section select "Edit". Make sure to deselect "Require secure channel (SSL)" and "Require 128-bit encryption." If the "Require 128-bit encryption." is selected and grayed out, make sure to select "Require secure channel (SSL)" and deselect "Require 128-bit encryption." then deselect "Require secure channel (SSL)" again.
For more information about this error, please refer to the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
329978.KB.EN-US "The token supplied to the function is invalid." Authenticating With http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;329978
Hope this helps.
