Hi, I'm in the middle of an Exchange 2007 > 2013 migration and in the process of migrating some live trial mailboxes across to the new server. One of the mailboxes is failing with the FailureType TooManyMissingItemsPermanentException.
Looking through the list of items, it shows 8695 of them.
These are all old items, over two years old that have been deleted from the source mailbox already yet something of them must remain.
All my research suggects upping the badlimit count but there's too many for me to be happy to do so.

I'm wondering what I can do about this.
I'm happy to ignore the the missing items if that's the only way but is there anyway of me exporing the results to an excel spreadsheet so I can look through them and confirm it's just missing mail items and not anything else?

Thanks,
Himesh

Himesh,

you can export the results from the failed move request by using the following command:

get-moverequest -identity <user's identity> |get-moverequeststatistics -includereport |fl

Hi Ibrahim, that's useful. I've got most of the data I needed.
What it doesn't show is the mail item details, in specific the date of the item (which is shown when I use the reports in the GUI), any idea how to ensure that data is shown in this report?

I'd love the fix this so it fixes the errors (the emails aren't there in the inbox or in deleted items so there must be an issue) of course but if I can get this right, it means I can move forward with migration
