since outlook 2003 cannot have more than one exchange servers on each profile and it you cannot have multiple instances of outlook with different profiles each one (even this is a common asked feauture) and with no IMAP support from the other LAN, the users are stuck of checking their mail from OWA which means that you have to have a IE window always open in front of you.

I was wondering if their is a mail checker (like pop3 tray mail checker) which will connect to an OWA page (SSL) and display an envelope if a new message has arrived on the mailbox and by doubleclick you will get the OWA page loaded.

Any ideas ??

Hi Vassilis,

I know there is such an application out there because I remember I tested it, but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the site I got it from [Confused]

It was not a shareware product or anything just a free product from some guy who created it in is sparetime.

I will post the link if I find out more.

please please please try to remember where you get the software or how to search it cause i'm googling my self out and i cannot find anything... [Confused]

i even try to create a .asp page using webdav to check for mail. I have no luck so far [Frown]

i downloaded and i receive an error. It cannot connecto to the site (of course the site is working!).

I will try further but from what i've seen it only checks the INBOX and not other folders.

I also found <http://www.asaris-matrix.com/sweber/playground/Downloads/Forms/AllItems.aspx>, scroll down and find "New mail notification utility" from what i've seen is a compile MSDN source code from the exchange SDK.
This works but it will be great if it allowed to check more folders.

You're welcome, good old Sigfried I should have thought about him... [Smile]

I also get an error when trying the WebMail utility, don't know if it's because you specifically have to authenticate using UPN and not username or domain\username. Seems like it's the url string that creates the problem.

IF Sigfried's tool isn't suitable maybe the guy behind WebMail can provide assistance.
