Turn Off NDR - 11.Aug.2004 6:18:00 PM
I have an Exchange 2000 server for 50 users, and we are getting over 100,000 spam emails per day, mainly to users who do not exist Is it possible to turn off NDRs so we do not have to send out 100,000 replys ??

You can indeed, and you're not the first to turn it off (RFCs insist you don't) or to have trouble finding where the switch is!

In Global Settings, Internet Message Format (yeah, not exactly intuitive) bring up the properties for the default domain (*). There it is on the Advanced page.

Note you could define specific domains that you do want to allow NDRs to in case you have some ham-fisted partners sending you mail.
