I tried to setup my Exchange 2007 SP1 Anti-Spam features by enabling the Content Filtering: Unfortunately when I check the mailbox Quarantine, it remains empty. Is there another step required to enable this? -Glenn

Hi, Have you specified the quarantine mailbox using the set-contentfilterconfig cmdlet?

I did so with the following command: quote:
[PS] H:\>Set-ContentFilterConfig -QuarantineMailbox quarantined@xxx.xxx And received the following responds back: quote:
WARNING: The command completed successfully but no settings of 'ContentFilterConfig' have been modified. -Glenn

Now I do want to mention that when I disable the 'Content Filter' completely, I do get a lot of junk...so I know it is working, however the mailbox 'Quarantined@xxx.xxx' is completely empty. So I am trying to figure out why it is not putting all the junk in here? -Glenn

Is this on an edge server? If so, is it possible that a quarantine mailbox has already been specified on the Hub Transport server?

I have a single Exchange 2007 server and installed the spam tools from Exchange on it. -Glenn

Can you use the message tracker to find out where the spam is being routed when the content filter is enabled?

Just checked the Message Tracking. Would receive to SMTP then fails event with souce "agent" and source context "smsmseroutingangent" In recipient status "550 5.2.1 Content Filter agent quarantine this message" Check quarantine mailbox, still nothing.
