Unable to Send Mail

After many years of working fine, no one in my Exchange Organization can send e-mail. When they send a new message, it does not appear in the Sent mail and never makes it to a server queue (as far as I can tell). When I look at the delivery report for one of these messages, I get "Delivery report information for this message isn't available." This is true for all accounts, whether using Active Sync, OWA, or standard Outlook. Inbound SMTP works fine. I use separate Mailbox and Edge servers; CAS and Hub services are combined on one box. Can you think of anything I can do to troubleshoot?
