I have E2K3 running on Server 2K3 with 2 NICs, private/public. I also have NAT and routing installed, using the basic firewall service.

From the internal network:

a) I can telnet to the private IP, port 25, and make a connection, receive welcome message, etc.

b) I can telnet to the public IP, port 25, and make a connection, which is immediately dropped without a welcome message.

Routing and Remote Access -> [MyServer] -> IP Routing -> NAT/Basic Firewall -> [Public NIC] -> Properties -> Services and Ports -> Internet Mail Server (SMTP) is checked, with the following settings:

Incoming Port: 25 (unchangable)
Private Address: 192.168.0.1 (correct private IP)
Outgoing Port: 25 (unchangable)

Any ideas? Please let me know if you need more information. I'll post if I find a solution as well.
