Unable to install e2k7 sp1 because missing kbs 931836 - 30.May2008 12:25:24 PM

Hi all,

I'm able to install exchange 2007 without a problem but when I tried to upgrade to sp1 it keeps error out with missing kb931836. I know that fix is for DST but can I find out what can I do when I extract the DST hotfix?

Thanks for the help ismail but it's not the process of installing that I'm having the problem. I have already tried 931836. 933360 is just an upgrade kb of 931836.

My problem is during the sp1 checking it keeps saying that I need to apply 931836. My question is I have extract that to the correct location but what can I do to stop sp1 from keeping saying I'm missing it.

The checks are hard coded, I don't think you can bypass them. Rather than downloading the updates manually, run Microsoft Update on the machine and see what it detects as missing.

You're right Sembee. I let windows update do it and I was able to install e2k7 sp1.
