Hello everyone,

Please bear with me as I attempt in explaining the situation our customer is experiencing.

They have emails going to a specific external domain being queued up on the Exchange HT. Exchange or DNS is unable to be resolve internally.

The external domain is, for example, "mailbox.net." There is a forward lookup zone created for it. There is also a MX record pointing to one of mailbox.net's delivery MTAs. We'll call that "mta.mailbox.net." Because this customer uses a smart-host, a Send Connector is created for the HT using the "mailbox.net" address space. The type is Internet as it will try DNS...

I'm baffled as to why the internal DNS is unable to resolve this and being q'ed up on the HT...

Message Tracking of these stuck messages show no error info.

Any help is appreciated!
