You had probably set a quota on the server and now it's exceeding limits. You should have left it to default.

Thanks

No I have all the quotas as normal and no mailboxes are an unordinary size. Still getting that annoying message anytime an external mail is sent or received.

Recipient is the person that receives the mail.  So when someone sends the mail from your exchange to an outside address, couldn’t it just be that the outside address receiving the mail, has a full mailbox? or does this happen to every e-mail that gets sent out from your exchange?

The problem has now been resolved. It may have been Symatec Corporate Edition, I uninstalled it and upgraded to the latest version.

I also realised that I did not create the correct exclusion lists for auto protect and it was scanning the exchange root directory.

So I reinstalled Symantec Corp Ed, excluded what I needed to exclude and thats it , its working perfectly.

Thanks

Sean
