Exchange 2000: I tried to send an attachment (51mb)and received "The message is larger that the current system limits" how do I increase this setting?

login to your exchange system manager then go to the following:

servers (select your server)
Protocols
smtp
select your "default SMTP Virtual Server Properties
and on the tab "Messages you can change the "limit messages size to".

Thanks for the speedy reply. However, on my server, the message size and session size is unchecked. So why am I not able to send a large attachment. The receiver has a 2gig mailbox and it's currently empty.....waiting on me.
