I have a client who is failing to recieve email from a few external sources. Mail is delivered to an external POP3 account, then the POP3 connector collects every 15mins. Also on the external POP3 account the mail gets forwarded to a Blackberry device. Now the messages that don't arrive on the Exchange server ARE being delivered to the Blackberry. Unfortunately the messages are from an important source!!! Where do I start to solve this? TIA.

Does message tracking show that this message arrived on the server, ever? If message tracking is not enabled, you can enable it from Server Properties -> General Tab.

Think I have narrowed this down... It appears that emails from people that have any accents or umlauts in their names are not being delivered on the Exchange server! Where to look next?

Hi Adminfx, you said to check to see if message logging was turned on... under properites / general could you elborate on that please.... as i cant seem to find where you are suggesting thanks

Open the Exchange System Manager. Drill down to your server. Right click on it and select Properties. On the General tab there is a checkbox to enable Message Tracking.
