Below are alerts issued(emailed to me) from my ISA server as unknown smtp commands. My question is, are these actually known commands to exchange, are they in fact unknown commands and attempts to crash/hack my exchange server. Any information is greatly appreciated,
Brian

What we are looking at is enhanced SMTP and this is used by some applications that do not use std SMTP Sendmail is a good example of an application that talks to exchange in this fashion. some hackers also talk this language but if you machine is patched and service packed you should be fine. BTW ISA is a great firewall

Thank you for your response. I have all of the service packs and post service packs installed. So I will assume that I am secure at this point.

You are right about the ISA, it is a great firewall. It is out-performing the slakware linux vr. 7.x that we used before.

Thanks again,
Brian
