Unusual problem with attachments - 17.Jun.2004 4:53:00 PM

We just upgraded to Exchange 2000 (SP4) with Symantec Mail Security for Exchange 4.0 and now I have some very unusual problems with attachments.
For example: A user will e-mail an XLS and PDF file to an external user in Hong Kong. The person in Hong Kong will recieve two copies of the XLS and no PDF.

I also have issues where if the user has a signature file which contains an embedded graphic (logo) it will sometime show up as an attachment and override the intended attached file.

Any ideas? This just seems way too unusual.
