I'm currently planning on upgrading a Exchange 2000 (standard edition) server to Exchange 2003 (Enterprise Edition), and I have to move the server into a different Forest. I can't seem to find anything on moving Exchange to a different Forest/Domain.

Here's what I have:
Our current Exchange 2000 was installed on a Win 2000 server that was running in it's own domain as a domain controller back when the rest of our servers were NT 4. The Exchange server also attaches to our BES (Blackberry) server.

I would like to set up E2k3 as a member server in a Windows 2000 Forest (I can upgrade if I need to) that contains our other (Non-Exchange) mail server. I plan on using new hardware for the E2K3 install. I need to move the existing user mailboxes to the new server. I have users from 4 different domains (different geographic locations) accessing the server for mail.

Any guidance on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Bill
