Last week we changed our broadband connection from dynamic IP to FixIP. Now at the ISP we changed the DNS-setting from hosted mail to our fix IP-adress (so before he picked up our mails with the POP3connector for exchange). I changed that he had to use the DNS-settings. Now I'm not familiar with exchange, so could anyone give me some information on what I have to change more. The ISP told me that it could take up to 36 hours before all routers know where to send our mails, but is their a way to check if exchange is right configured??
I hope for a quick response. You may also sent tips/solutions directly to my mailbox

Tnx
Andy

Three places to check:

Internet Mail Connector on Exchange and make sure the server Ip or host name is correct.
If using host name, use nslookup or Ping to see what the IP address is.
Check Network control panel and check what dns servers you are referencing. Do you have your own DNS server or ISP's DNS?
