After setting up Exchange Server2003 and removing it with the removeorg switch. I now wants to uninstall it the error is giving me is "Setup detects that your Active Directory Schema has has not been extended for use by Exchange 2003. Some Exchange System Manager functionality will not be available until setup is run with the forestPrep Switch". If I try to run with the ForestPrep switch I get this error The component Microsoft Exchange messaging and collaboration services cannot be assigned the action Install because: To install the first Exchange server in a domain, or to run setup in /ForestPrep mode, you must be on Exchange Full Administrator at the organization level. You must use an account that has been granted the Full Exchange Administrator role on the Exchange organization using the Exchange Administrative Delegation wizard".
Please and Please I need help so that I can run forestPrep again. Exchange Gurus and MVP's tackle this one please.

Can you let us know where you just attempted to do the /forestprep? If it was anywhere other than the Schema Master can you try again on the Schema Master and then report back.

This is my environment.
We have two machines one DC and one Member server. The DC is the root domain. I tried once again to run ForestPrep on the root domain and I get this error: The component Microsoft Exchange messaging and collaboration services cannot be assigned the action Install because: To install the first Exchange server in a domain, or to run setup in /ForestPrep mode, you must be on Exchange Full Administrator at the organization level. You must use an account that has been granted the Full Exchange Administrator role on the Exchange organization using the Exchange Administrative Delegation wizard".
I get this error after I tried to select ForestPrep from Action drop down box. All I need right now is to take exchange out and do a fresh clean install, but Exchange doenst want to come out if I try to take it out under add and remove program. I dont know what to do. Please help.

Looks like it still thinks Exchange is present in the organisation still. Have a check to make sure the Exchange xxx Servers groups have been removed and that everything it purged out of the directory

How do I purge it from the directory. Please I need a step by step guide. Right now our second member server has been reformatted and installed with a fresh copy of Windows Server2003, I did installed the Exchange Admin tools on our only Domain Controller and when I want to install Exchange 2003 with the ForestPrep switch on it I get this error messages.

I need help with this Issue. All the MVP's please help out. I cant run ForestPrep to reinstall my Exchange Server. My dateline is friday.

I have fixed the ForestPrep issue and now I can run ForestPrep and DomainPrep.
