We were in the midst of a transition from 2000 -> 2007 when our exchange 2000 server died.

Since then, strange things have been happening in terms of public folders.

Mail sent to a mail enabled public folder does not show up in the public folder. No bounce message is sent back either (sending from an external email address). However, if forwarding is setup on the public folder, it will still forward on the email.

How can we fix this? The old server is probably not ever coming back, so we can do anything that is needed to let 2007 know that 2000 no longer exists
