While going through ADC Tools I didnÆt see at least one of the boxes that Exchange decided to designate to a wrong mailbox (It created a user account ADC_***************) and now the account is ôgoofy.ö I had ended up deleting the secondary account that she was originally pointed to and tried putting her login info into the account that should have been her primary. She can log into the network and access her mailbox with no problems, but I canÆt get her account to access network resources that she has permissions to. It also created a new profile on her computer with the domain name attached to the folder  formerly her Documents and Settings folder was called ôUser,ö now it is called ôUser.DOMAIN.ö

I would imagine that this post could be very confusing or lacking in info. I am throwing this out there hoping that someone will have a general idea and ask me for info that might point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
fat

Each user account is identified in the system with a SID (Security Identifier) and it has nothing to do with the name of the user. What you have done is created an account for a new user as far as the system is concerned. You have to set up all the permissions and group belongings from scratch. The reason why the name of the profile differs from the old one is that you can¦t have two profiles with the same name.

I had to re-add the user to the Security tab... After messing with her acct I had only put her in the Sharing permissions. DOH!
