Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to configure a users Active Directory (2003) profile that sends an auto response when an email is received with a particular receipient's address in Exchange 2003? For example if Joe Smith's profile is set up with email addresses jsmith@abc.com and contests@abc.com, can any incoming email addressed to contests@abc.com be sent an auto response email thanking them for their submittion? I'd like to set this up via user profile rather than a rule in outlook if possible because our users sometimes work on different PCs within the organization.
Thanks in advance.

Why not use an Outlook rule? It's easy to setup and it will work from the server, i.e. the user does not have to be logged on with Outlook. It's necessary though to create a separate mailbox for the contest@abc.com address (so that the rule can be configured as server-side) and forward all inbound messages to the jsmith@abc.com account (unless you want *all* email to that user to trigger the rule).
