Hi all, please forgive if this has been posted before, but I cannot find any reference to this puppy and am very perplexed.

My user's contact folder does not appear as a choice when addressing an email. The properties page to make their address book available is greyed out!

As a result, they must either type the email address or dig into their address book and send email by right clicking the contact, but it won't lookup if they just type the addressee name in the "to" field.

Is this a default setting somewhere? I have looked everywhere and can't find reference as to why this option would be greyed out.

Config:
A new active directory organization and install of W2K3 and Exchange 2003.

A central installation of one Exchange server in the parent domain and access to exchange from users in the child domain.

Everything else works flawlessly.

Any thoughts?

Thanks much,

Alex Kasper

So you're saying that when you right-click the Contacts folder and choose the Outlook Address Book tab, it's greyed out?

Can't say I've seen that. Maybe to save your sanity it might be worth trashing and re-creating the Outlook profile.
