I had a user accidentally select and drag-drop their entire Inbox in Outlook 2003 onto their Mailbox - User Name in the All Mail Folders pane.
Well, once we located the missing email, they were said to reside in the 'Top of Information Store.' Is there any way to see what is at the 'Top of Information Store' from Exchange 2003 System Manager? If not there, is there any other method?
We just did a search on a known email and that's how we found this user's, but we'd like a better method if there is one.
Thanks, TRKneller

I am not aware of any way to see the Top of the Information Store other than using the Advanced Find in Outlook (like you mentioned).. You will not be able to see it via ESM. The only other thing I can think of is to use MDBview.exe however, I have not tried this yet to verify if it will work. Sorry - if you do find another way, please post it.

Try going into their outlook, selecting the Mailbox - Username. Right click on it, go to properties. Select "home page" tab. Un-check "Show home page by default for this folder". Then apply and you will be able to see emails which were hidden by the homepage previously. Unsure if this is your problem, but I hope it helps.

You can re-enabled the M: drive in Exchange 2003 - and then navigate to the users mailbox. All of the messages will be in there.
Thanks
