I just finished installing SBS2003 on a new machine, got the internet working through the server, DHCP on the server turned on, and the workstations are able to get on the internet.. I setup a user during the initial install, and 2 users afterward. When i go to setup outlook on a workstation it will verify and allow the original user to be setup, but when i try to setup on of the 2 new entries, I get the error " The action could not be completed. The name could not be matched in the address list" or "name cannot be resolved". That's the first problem, the second is that it won't let me send and recieve with the name that is working... but i haven't spent much time on that one cause I want to get this part straight first. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cestech

I'm having a similar issue. I am getting that same error msg, but the circumstances are different. Our server is running SBS 2003 on a 40pc network. all required services are running without errors. DNS is up and running, exchange server is running and is fine the best of my knowledge. Yesterday, i added a new user and the process usually takes about 15 seconds, it hung for about 6 minutes, and then finished. when it finished, it did not setup the default "smtp" and "x400" settings under the "email address" tab of the user properties like it has done for every other user. i added them manually, but now when i go to the client pc and am adding the exchange server mailbox to outlook2003, i am getting this same error msg. "The action could not be completed. The name could not be matched to a name in the address list" Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Dave

Same thing here. I can't find anything anywhere on what's going on.

*****Fix Found****
If you go to Receipient Update Services (Under First Organiazation -> Receipitants in system manager) and click update and then rebuild this should fix the issue. I was experiencing the same issues and this solved it!
