Hello all,

Im just starting my activity in this forum as with exchange2003 which i've been enjoying so far...except for one user that needs a mail divert from his mailbox to an external mail each time he goes out. Not a big deal if you're at the office but the problem starts when this guy (a director...) asks for this at 6 in the morning or 23h which is quite annoying if u have a life outside the office.
Is there a way to allow him to do this from his xp laptop without giving him anymore privileges so he doesnt accidentally screws the server? I couldn't find any info in previous posts and to be honest, I have no ideia if this is possible. If there is some post about this, my apologies.

Thanks in advance,
Zeca

Try this. You presumably have an AD contact created for the external address.
Help the guy create a rule in Outlook. So long as the destination address is an object in AD you should be perfectly fine to have it apply when Outlook is closed.
