We have a MS Exchange 2000 server in our company with 100+ mail boxes. The server is connected with a leased internet connection, and currently our server is directly forwarding all the outbound emails using its own SMTP.

This method is utilizing more internet bandwidth when one of our staff sends for example 1MB of emails to 20 recipients, meaning the server is sending 20 times to 20 different receipts the same mail.

I want to know how I can configure my Exchange server to use our ISP's SMTP server for every outbound emails instead of using our company Exchange servers SMTP.

Thank you,
