Hi There, I've been trying to setup Outlook Anywhere at our site and publishing it on ISA Server 2006 SP1. We have a single Exchange Server 2007 with SP1, and a single ISA Server 2006 with SP1. Publishing of pop3 and OWA works fine without any problems. But Outlook Anywhere only works fine within the internal LAN, but not externally. Our domain setup is as follows, for confidentiality reasons I have substituted the real names: Internal: exchange.abc.local External: mail.xyz.com Now as far as I know, if DNS host names are different, there is not a problem. It works perfectly fine by editing DNS records or the hosts file on ISA. But the person before me who did the initial setup of the domain, for some unknown reason, configured totally different local and registered domain names. Therefore, neither are the host names nor the domain names same in my case. I have tried all articles posted by Dr. Tom Shinder on the isaserver.org site, I even posted in the forum and it's been two months no reply. Then I came accross an article by Henrik Walther talking about SAN Certificates which seems to be the solution to my problem. http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/mobility-client-access/securing-exchange-2007-client-access-server-3rd-party-san-certificate.html When I went through his article, he mentioned 2 scenerios, one where the host names were different and one where both host names and domain names were different, but for that article he discussed the first scenario of different hosts names. I tried following that article by altering a few things, but it did not work. Besides, for SAN Certificates, is it possible to use locally created SAN Certs rather then 3rd party, since I was trying it out by a locally created cert. If anyone has been through such a situation and has solved it, could you please, guide me too on how to doing it. Thanks and Regards, Joe
