Hi everybody!

Maybe one of you could be of assistance for my little problem.
3 of my users need to have multiple e-mail address from different domain.
Ex..  user1@domain1.com
       user1@domain2.com
       user1@domain3.com
      etc...

That's ok, i've used the e-mail address policy for that.
The problem is with sending e-mail, those users are assistant for people that are managing 3 different company, so when they need to send an e-mail it MUST be from the domain from the company in question.

Is there a way to configure something, so thoses user can send e-mail from different domain?

Thanks!

Krypton

You will also need toconfigure outlook to show the Fom button when authoring new messages. If using outlook 2007 click the options tab and select the show from button. Outlook will display the "From" button each time they create a new message.

Thanks to both of you for your reply.

Tried to add the send as permission but didn't work either.
I'll explain a little bit more in detail what i'm trying to do.

Let say that i have User1.
User1 as been assigned addresses by the e-mail address policy.

user1@domain.com  (<-- default reply address)
user1@otherdomain.net
user1@thirddomain.org

User1 want to send an e-mail from the address user1@otherdomain.net  to be sure that recipient is receiving an e-mail from the domain of the company with who he's making business.

If it's really the send as permission that is allowing this to be done, then maybe i've misunderstood how to set it.

here's the command that i've run on command shell to authorize user1 to send from the other domain

Add-ADPermission "User1" -User "Domain\User1" -Extendedrights "Send As"Is there something that i've done wrong?
Thanks for any assistance!

Hello,

you can't do that in Exchange 2007 natively. Try to use this 3-rd party utility:

Having read the entire thread, if you are still having issues...

Make sure Exchange is receiving mail for all three orgs.
Create three mailboxes.
User gets full control of the second two.
User gets explicit sendas of the second two.
Outlook profile has three mailboxes in it.
Outlook has the FROM field exposed.

I do this all the time.
