I have a SMTP address space created that works from my Outlook 2007 client machines.  When I use this address space from any MFP in my org, the message is not received by my exchange server.

I can send email messages from the MFP using standard SMTP addressing, but my custom addresses (phone-number@fax.domain) are either blocked or ignored.
If I look at the message tracker in Exchange2007, an email addressed with both a standard address and the custom address, will only show the standard address...
Since the custom address space works from Outlook, I'm under the impression I have a permission or port problem.  I don't see any options in the Address Space to differentiate security settings.
Thanks for any guidance...
