Our exchange server needs to host more than one name space for email (we own different companies with their own web presence). Is this possible in Exchange 2000? I have heard that you can use virtual SMTP servers to handle different name spaces. Is this available on both Standard and Enterprise versions?

You can use SMTP Virtual servers, Create 1 SMTP virtual server for each Company, but you don't have to... Use this if you want to set different access, atuhentication, Limits +++ for each company. Remember that each Virtual server need unik TCP Socket (IP adress/Port)
Yes, it can be done on both Standard and Enterprise.

You have to create Recipient policy for each namespcae you want to use for email. (Either you use different Virtuel SMTP servers or not....)
