Hi,

I have an e2k server running (p3 700 with 512mb ram) and the latest service
packs and required hf's applied.
The client side is on the whole outlook 2k but there is the one Outlook 98
client. In total there is only 9 clients.
Just recently (and for no visible reason) access to the server has got very
slow - even to a point that the outlook client completely hangs (especially
when deleting messages).

The only thing I can see is that the mdbdata folder now contains approx 1000
transaction logs (yes, I know how important these are) and the databases
themselves (priv.edb is approx 1 gb and pub.edb is less than 150mb). The
drive that these sit on still has 11.4gb of free space.

I have run isinteg and all seems fine - the Anti virus was scanning the
mdbdata folder but has now been disabled (m drive was already excluded).
The server was also running the Blackberry enterprise server software and
this has now been disabled.

We still get problems even after doing the above.

Any Idea's?

Regards

Paul Adam
