We are currently running Exchange 2007 as our voice mail box with Cisco CallManager Express 4.1. When a call comes in from external sources and the user doesnt pick, the call is forwarded to the user voicemail box perfectly. But when a call is made from a local extension and the user doesnt answer, the call transfers to the voicemail box of the person who called and asks for their PIN as if they had called their voicemail to check their voicemail. How do i enable local extensions to leave voicemails to fellow local extensions?

We have CallManager 6 and had a similar problem.  I resolved the issue by enabling "Redirecting Diversion Header Delivery" for both inbound and outbound calls for call routing configuration under trunk configuration.
