Does anyone know the correct 'stable' method of
installing W2K SBS without any weird errors in Event Viewer coming up?

The desired result is a clean install of W2K Server as a domain controller with AD and a working copy of Exchange 2000. I may also need to confirure Routing and Remote Access also. I have done this a number of times in various different orders and 2 out of 10 times the
installation is perfect with very few errors in the event viewer. The other 8 times however the Event Viewer is a red 'x' nightmare. DNS requested being requested to themselves, Perf errors, LDAP inconsistancies. Most errors are so bizarre and unrelated that I struggle to understand where they are coming from. Those that are apparently fixed with Service Packs aren't?

Is W2K SBS just merely a flawed product and these errors are just unavoidable?

We really need to see the Event Viewer errors to give any help.
What you need is a stable network setup first with IP routing, DNS in place. Then install your AD domain, update with forestprep and then install Exchange (ideally on a second server in the domain).
