I'm wanting to verify that a File is on our FTP site from a remote computer using scripting that connects via a dialup. I have a WMI script that works fine if I am connected via our LAN connection. However, once I go to dialup via earthlink I get "RPC server not available". I have tried many things. Allowed my logon to use dialup to the FTP server. Tried using "Delegate" for impersonation_type. I'm not a network person so I'm very concerned also with what security issues that I'm opening up. Any help would be appreciated.
