Hi all,

I am trying to set up Exchange access for a client who has some Mac OS X users with Entourage 2004 installed.

I've been doing some research but haven't found anything concrete to work off of. Basically I need to know how to set up WebDAV and LDAP on the Exchange 2003 server to allow access to the Mac users.

Thanks!

You are quite restricted with Entourage with Exchange. You can do IMAP to send/receive mail, access public folders, use the Calendar add-on for Calendar sharing and access the Global Address List via LDAP (LDAP server is your Global Catalog server on port 3268, using Search base of the domain e.g. dc=domain,dc=com.

Here is a good document from MS (.pdf file) on using Entourage 2004 with Exchange server.

http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/DOWNLOAD/office2004/WorkingWithExchange.xml&secid=4&ssid=6&flgnosysreq=true

Note a long list of limitations of Entourage as compared to Outlook 2001 toward the end of document. You may want to set users expecations before deployment as Entourage is very very limited.
