All,
Our company is still running Windows NT 4.0 w/ Exchange 5.5 SP4 and I need a better solution than OWA that comes with Exchange. But I need more than just a POP3 or IMAP interface, it needs to be a fully integrated webmail client, does anyone know of one? I am trying to get them to upgrade because of End-Of-Life on these products, but I am not there yet.

Thanks for your help in advance.

OWA with Exch 2003 is way far superior to the one in Ex 5.5.
Its so close to Outlook, that you would hardly know the difference.
There are no other web clients I know of.

You probably already know this, but with exchange 2003 & outlook 2003, users can connect to the exchange server from home via https ( & i believe the rpc protocol). The remote connection doesn't need vpn or anything and treats the outlook client as though they are locally sitting on the internal network.

I have to agree with both previous posters. I have seen no 3rd party webclients that intigrate with exchange, but running OWA 2003 gives me no reason even to look for one. It is an excelent web client, hands down. [Smile]

Sendmail.com has a webinterface for Exchange 5.5.

It works quite well, but could be a little pricey.

I believe it uses IMAP to interface with Exchange:

Ihave a dilemma:
Company uses IMAP (qmail) for email and Exchange 2003 for calendar/tasks.
I can use the Outlook 2003 "fat" client to point to imap on qmail and use the E2k3 server for calendaring. It all works really well.
Can I do this with the OWA client?
