Hi,
We’ve deployed new Exchange 2007 in the child domain, first Exchange 2007 is in the parent domain. Apart from the following issue it’s been running fine alongside each other. The problem is very intermittent and very hard to find a pattern or mimic it. Every now and then email sent to distribution group won’t reach the end recipients. I might send the email to distribution group now and the same one in a minute and one will get delivered fine, the other one won’t and we can’t track down where it went. Message Tracking Result doesn’t help as the results are exactly the same for both emails: EventId – RECEIVE. Both emails are going through same Exch Servers.
Has anyone experienced similar issue with message routing?
Thanks.
David.

I should also mention one thing...if we expand the distribution group name (by clicking on the PLUS symbol), then the email gets always delivered! Expansion server is set same on all distribution groups. It doesn’t help if changed to Any server in the organization.
