I have a problem with distribution list email's that are causing the specific rules to not work. All other rules work fine and I have tried everything from Re-Creating all the rules after using the MAPI.exe tool (deleting out all previous rules for that mailbox) to recreating the entire user profile. Weird thing is I am looking at the message headers from these email's and am noticing that the To: fild has "Jane Doe" <distrolist@domain.com> and when I open up the message and right click on the To: which shows the standard display name. Then I create a rule (right clicking that To:)and it sill won't move any emails from the inbox. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
- I'm beginning to think that I may have to re-route these to a public folder as a workaround.
