Attention Freelancers.
I'm trying to determine what the going rate is for intallation and configuration of Exchange 2003 (or any other version) for an office of apprx 7 computers.
How many hours would it take to install it, configure it, and configure it to back up given that 2003 server is already installed. Ballpark.
Thanks

Provided that you have Active Directory installed with your W2K or W2K3 network, installing Exchange is quite straight-forward. I had no exchange experience and it took me less than 2 days to install/configure the server for my company (test on 10 users). So to be honest, if you get expert service externally don't let them rip you off with a massive bill! I have now installed & configured Exchange twice (server went dead after the first install) and I am confident that I can do it again in a day.

So if any external "experts" tell you they need X no. of days they are just trying to rip you off.
