Hi,

We have Exchange Server 2000 running here. One problem we have is sometimes it takes unusual long time to send and deliver to email accounts on the same domain xxx@ourcompany.com. Sometimes it sits in Outbox( we use Outlook 2000 ) for minutes. Sometimes it takes more than 1 hour for other email account to receive emails.

At the same time, it send and deliver fairly quick, to other external email accounts like xxx@hotmail.com, xxx@yahoo.com or any other external domains......

What do I need to check for this unusual situation?

Thanks a lot.

Frank

I had the same problem with mail going to some domains and not others. Tried all the suggestions on the boards, none helped me. I came up with this. I switched my network adapter order (Network Connections, Advanced, then Advanced Settings on menu bar) from having the network services access my internal adpater first, to having my external adapter on top of the list and viola' mail is flowing. My situation was a transfer to a 2003 server from and Exchange 5.5. When I removed all the AD connectors and turned off the 5.5 server, mail was not flowing to some domains.

Hope this helps.
