Hi,

What type of RAID (1, 5, 10, ..?) in Exchange 2007 for the transaction log and database files? And for Exchange 2003?

Depends entirely on your disk provider. If you're using a SAN then they will give you the best advice.
If you are using DAS then RAID10 / 1+0 / 0+1 / 1 are the options. RAID 5 is certainly off the cards as the I/O profile doesn't make it a viable solution (fine for E2K but nothing more recent)
