Lets say I have a domain a.com and a child domain of b.a.com. I add a domain controller to the b.a.com domain and install exchange on it. Everything is working fine, except that when I create exchange users in the b.a.com domain their default email address is user@a.com instead of user@b.a.com. I could certainly go in and change this in System Mananger, but I don't understand why this occurred in the first place. I expected it to default to user@b.a.com because that is where the exchange server is located. Is this by design?

Thanks
