To my surprise I can't find anything about this problem.

We've recently upgraded from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 SP1. We're using the Exchange Web Services (EWS) v1.1 API to create streaming subscriptions (new in SP1. Similar to push/pull subscriptions). The streaming subscription is for when new mail arrives I get notified, I fetch the email and do my thing to it. All works well except it appears that Exchange is removing my subscription without telling me from its store. What I mean by that is that I'll subscribe, receive a subscription identifier and only sometimes receive a notification that new mail has arrived.

What could cause Exchange to remove my subscription without warning and/or simply not notify me for whatever reason.

Is it possibly sending out the notification and getting lost?
What are the odds my subscription is vanishing?
Is there a setting that isn't configured properly in Exchange Web Services?

I've looked high and low, posted several times on the Microsoft development and Exchange forums with zero luck.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Please let me know if I'm not being clear enough or would like more details.
