Dear all,

one of my user send external email with .zip file attached with it, but on the other end user receive email but somehow the attachment gets changed from .zip to .dat, i dont know where the problem is exactely...please help me on this matter bcoz the user sending mail is one of my company's director...

The Message format is probably not set to MIME on the Exchange servers. Look in the IMAP/POP3 Virtual Server properties and Message Delivery under Global Options.
