Hi

I cannot get the MS POP3 connector to work.
I found out that the POP3 connector puts "mspop3connector" in front of the receipent address when it retreives the e-mail.

The Exchange server 2003 naturally replies to the sender, that the user is unknown.

Example:

If sending to the user gandalf@mydomain.com the POP3 connector retrieves the message and appends mspop3connector to the receipient address: "mspop3connector.ganalf@mydomain.com"

The sender the receives the following message from the Exchange server

Because of this the sender receives a message the following error message:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

mspop3connector.gandalf@mydomain.com

Final-Recipient: rfc822;mspop3connector.gandalf@mydomain.com

Can I somehow stop the MS POP3 connector from changing the receipient mail address?

A truly dire product. There is a lengthy troubleshooting document: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=885685 which speaks volumes.
I'd suggest you just spend the 50 euros on POPCON or POPBeamer and get a lot more functionality out of the solution.
