Why would "Microsoft System Attendant" be in disconnect section

Hello,

would anyone be able to tell me why would the "Microsoft System Attendant" be in the "Disabled Mailbox" section?  i do not recall putting it there..  also i tryed reconnecting the mailbox, but i am not to sure to whom connected it to.

the service starts or restarts just fine.?

Did you do a recent upgrade or are in a mixed exchange environment?

Not sure if this is 100% pertinent to e2k7 vs its functionality in e2k3 but the below may indicate some things that might not function as intended with the loss of that account.

-The system attendant mailbox is required for multiple tasks. These include, but are not limited to:
  • Processing server monitor messages
  • Updating free/busy calendar information for Microsoft Office® Outlook Web Access users
  • Processing Mailbox Manager notifications
  • Moving mailboxes to other databases

thx for the reply...  yes i did recently moved exchange from hardware to hardware.  the posts that you sent me arrive at a point where exchange simply "recreated" the account, so i will wait and see what happens.
