Not sure how this happened, maybe someone can help!?
I moved the Exchange store from the 01 server to the 02 server (public folders and all)..Apparently I forgot to move the administrator account...
I disabled all of the services on the 01 server, and left it installed...
The admin account (renamed to joe) lists in the GAB, but when I try to right click on his account in ADU&C the only option I get under Exchange tasks is to Enable Instant Messaging and Remove Exchange Attributes...
If I reenable the Exchange services on the 01 server, where I think his email resides, I still get the same options..
Without losing all of the email there, how can I retrieve his account and move it to the 02 server?
Thanks in advance..

I suggest bringing Server01 back on line and use Move Mailbox to move it to Server02. Alternatively, bring up Server01, save mail to a PST using Outlook or ExMerge and import it into a new mailbox on Server02.

Hi... Thanks for your reply..
Even if I start the services on both servers, and choose Exchange tasks, I still only get Remove Exchange Attributes or Change IM server..
Wierd problem.. Any other ideas?
Thanks.
