I trying to setup a secure email environment. I have three Win2k 'domains'. One parent domain and two child domains. Each domain has
its own Exchange 2000 server. All of the clients in this setup are Win2000 Pro and are using Outlook200 email clients. I have signature and encrypted certificates that are generated by a third party Netscape CA. The certs are in a .p12 format. I would like to import these certificates into Win2k AD and from the Outlook200 email clients, be able to retrieve this certs from AD when sending a signed and encrypted message. All this without having to do the normal I send you my signature and you send yours. I want to be able to use Outlook 2000 to pull the cert from AD. Can this be done? Are Outlook2000, Exchange2000 and Active Directory compatible enough to do this?
