I am trying to move our current exchange 2003 which is running on a win2k domain controller to win2003. I have ran the usually adprep utilities to install win2003 via dcpromo. I installed exchange 2003 on it as well. Now I am able to see both servers running exchange within system manager. My question: What is the easiest way to perform a migration from the old exchange 2003 to the new exchange 2003? I have googled a bit, found articles about migrating from exch2000 to exch2003 and moving exch2003 to new hardware BUT using the same operating system. I honestly don't know where to begin, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Well, I was actually able to answer my own question.I ran through http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Migrating-Exchange2000-Exchange-2003-Hardware.html Of course everything wasn't the same, but more /less it provided me with the steps to complete this issue. The Only thing I did before anything was upgrade my DC to 2003. Then I added another 2003, followed those steps in the tutorial and presto, everything is okay.
DOWLESS, just follow those steps. Again, everything is not the same but gives you enough information on how to go about it.
